Who we are

Kaleos was founded by two developers with experience from small companies and large corporations. You work directly with us.

Data scientist and AI architect. Designs generative-AI architecture — LLMs, RAG, agents — at Slovenia's largest bank. Former head of analytics for the Mercator Pika loyalty programme in strategic marketing, with experience from a bank's compliance department — including GDPR and the EU AI Act — and the IT departments of larger companies. As an independent consultant to retail and logistics companies, law firms, public institutions and mid-sized businesses, he analyses and automates business processes with IT, data and AI — the role he holds at Kaleos.

Software engineer and architect. At Kaleos d.o.o. he develops Emio, the AI document-processing system, and builds agentic AI systems. As a developer and consultant he spent years building data and web systems for companies Hisense, Gorenje, Sportradar and Špica, as well as public institutions. Rigorous about best programming practices — also in the era of AI — taking care of maintainability, scalability, infrastructure and security. Deploys systems in the cloud — distributed, resilient, EU and GDPR compliant.

Emio

emio.ai is an AI-powered system for processing and understanding documents.

You define the document types you want to process and the data fields that matter to you. emio.ai then reads the documents, automatically classifies them into the right type and extracts key data such as dates, amounts, document numbers, companies or other text fields.

Documents can be uploaded manually or captured automatically from an email inbox. Extracted data is available for export to Excel or for integration with existing systems such as ERP, RPA and other internal tools.

With advanced search and an AI chatbot, you can quickly find documents, filter data and ask questions about the content of your documentation.
